Some friends and I decided to take a ferry ride to Alameda to skate around and drink some beers. Twas a good day.

BAY TO BREAKERS 2010

So, this is another silly ass reason for our city to stop what they are doing and get completely fucked up. Old timers to young teenagers participate in this non sense and nobody seems to care at all.

For those of you who don't know what bay to breakers is it's a 7 mile race from the bay bridge to the beach in San Francisco. It starts with 5-10 runners from around the world who can knock it out under 40 minutes. Followed by that a large number of participants walk the course in good fun usually dressed in costume, and followed by that are the partiers. Walking floats, portable Dj booths, wheeling keg, and just basically going for it. Some 200,000 people show up for this thing. Its a little out of control but nobody really gets hurt. It's all in good fun. It was my first one and probably not my last. Next year marks the 100th Bay to Breakers. I'll just have more film next time and hopefully wont black out so quickly.
